Why we built it

Migraine is common, disabling, and chronically under-documented. The appointment is fifteen minutes long and starts with a question nobody can answer accurately: how often has this been happening? Most people guess. The guess then drives a treatment decision that would have been different with a real count.

Meanwhile the research that might improve those treatments struggles to recruit, partly because studies need people who can produce a documented baseline — the thing almost nobody has.

Both problems have the same missing piece. MigraSens is an attempt to supply it: a diary short enough to fill in on a bad day, a summary a clinician can read in thirty seconds, and — strictly optional — a way to hear about research that fits your pattern.

What we are not

We are not a clinic, a sponsor, or a contract research organisation. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or enrol anyone in anything. We do not hold study data; that lives with the study, under its own consent form. And we do not sell your entries, to anyone, at any price.

How we make money

When you opt into research matching and choose to be introduced to a study, the sponsor or research site pays us a referral fee once you reach their screening stage. That is the whole model. You are never charged for tracking, the fee never depends on whether you enrol or stay enrolled, and it never depends on what a study finds. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes first.
